TVR sold to British businessman

Following the recent teaser messages on TVR's website, it's been confirmed that the rights to the TVR brand have been acquired by British businessman, Les Edgar. The deal also includes the right to manufacture parts for existing cars, which must be very good news for current owners. The new owner of TVR Automotive Ltd has not revealed any plans for a new TVR, but an announcement is imminent. In 2004 Peter Wheeler sold TVR to Russian businessman Nikolai Smolensky, who confirmed its closure only last year, much to the sadness of the company's many fans and owners. There is also no news of where the cars will be built, although Les Edgar is Surrey-based.
